Rocket League and Controllers

Decided I want to play rocket league with a controller and I want to play it with a 360 controller. I have many wireless 360 controllers however I cannot find a place to buy a dongle anywhere near me though there is a place that sells wired controllers new for 300 kr (~35$). I guess im wondering whether the wire is annoying to play with in rocket league or if i should buy a most likely slightly cheaper dongle. Theres also the issue of batteries that I dlike to avoid if possible.

I've played Rocket League and many other games with a wired Xbox One controller and it's never bothered me.

It's down to personal preference. Wire doesn't effect performance, unless you count the possibility of batteries running out on wireless.

Wire hasn't bothered me with Logitech F310.

I prefer wireless over wired but that is just me and only cause I hate the wire getting caught on something or thinking i'm wireless and trying to walk away lol.  as long as the new controller isn't some offbrand then I'd probably do that.  You should be able to find a wireless dongle online pretty cheap, I paid 10$ for mine 2 years ago and its great
