cpu fan is going to fly

lolsmurfzs

so i was plaing this heavy game called: SNOW, when the cpu fan reached ~65 degrees. cpu fan started going around 4800 rpm and the noise it made wasn't good.

i have i feeling it is going to fly out of my case, because if i set it to manual mode 100% (almost 5000 rpm) the noise it makes sounds like a helicopter going into a wall.

what do i do?!

EDIT: if it's hot and i set it to 100% it's around 500 rpm, if cpu is not hot and i set it on 100% it's around 3500 rpm.

If you have tried cleaning the fan/heatsink, maybe try tweaking the curve so that it keeps the temps a bit higher, 65 degrees is not so terribly hot 5 degrees more should be okay and may keep the noise down. Also, you can use Alt+PrintScreen to capture one window instead of the whole desktop.

Make it only go at 4500 at 75 degrees.
