If you still have time, try to reflash the BIOS (I don't know if that's even possible when you have that error)

update: i got around the nvram by just letting it sit with the jumper on reset cmos, no battery and no power, but now the problem is: ESXi won't boot (tried it on my personal rig and it won't boot into ESXi either (top left corner has a blinking underscore)

the SSD with ESXi is selected as the first drive in the boot order :)

Hey guys,

When i try to boot up my server it goes through the usual american megatrends stuff, the LSI SAS controller and then the intel sata controller, but then the american megatrends screen reappears with this:

A2rrZ8x.png

how do i fix this? (i've already waited over an hour for that "Checking NVRAM.." to go away :/

btw: yes i've already reset the CMOS.

it's in a 1u rackserver so that's why there is no case, powersupply or cpu coolers (just copper heatsinks)

how do i do this? and i would rather not do those kinds of things to other people's hardware :/

btw: i tried a brand new battery and it didn't solve the problem :/
