Hi guys, friend of mine bought the ASUS TUF Gaming FX506IV-BQ123T with the 4800H and the RTX2060. I asked him to run cinebench because I was curious how quick it was. His score was 2402 in R20. I read that the normal score of a 4800H is around 4000. We tried putting it in performance mode in armoury crate and using the windows power plan to set it to high performance, but the score became even lower. Does anyone know how to fix it? Cheers!

2nd Gen Ryzen recommended ram speed
Slammer replied to Snarky's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
As you already said it is technically possible but it could not work sometimes. I can't even run my 2600 with ramspeeds above 2933 or it will crash no matter what i do. Its a matter of trial and error for those things. -
I will definitely let him know once again thanks for the help!

Yeah its actually new, its old stock and we know the owner of the store and sometimes he gives us amazing deals on older hardware. He settled for the Ryzen 5 3600, so it would not be a problem. It still is a rough choice for him.

That sounds like it would have been a sick build back in the day. Would love to see it build!

Those where the good days! Still miss my 8800GTS's in SLI.

Thanks for your help!

That is what i am trying to prove to him to. Thanks everyone for replying, I will let him read everything and hope does NOT make a stupid choice .
-
No not really he wants the best bang for the buck build. There is no max budget but he wants to get the most worth of his money for the least.
-
He can get it new for 15 euro's in the local hardware store, it is a good deal but not suited for his system.
-
Yeah that's what I am trying to tell him. It could be done but i don't feel good about it running a PSU on 100% load everyday, becuase when it breaks your whole system could go down with it.

Hi guys, a friend of mine is building a new pc and asked me about the PSU he is considering. He wants to use a 400W Be Quiet Pure Power with 80plus Silver, the GPU he is buying is a 5700xt. Can this unit power the GPU or does he need a better one? He can get a good deal on it and he insist on getting this unit because of the 80plus Silver rating. He does not believe me as I say he needs a higher rated PSU so back me up guys! Cheers, Boris
