i have had my computer for 15 months and 4 months ago my gpu has been overheating as it is idling  at 45 c and when i play a game (arma 3 ) to get it below 85 i have to under-clock it and run my fans at 100%.if it gets higher than 85 it will shut down my computer i have no idea why.

 

 

Btw before it shuts down my screen flickers and artifacts

Well, that means your GPU is doing its job and shutting down the system before it reaches its maximum operating temperature.

Accidentally typed CPU instead of GPU in
