1. can you post your complete rig with psu etc???

2. whats your budget?

3. what are your "needs" like if you'd like to focus on rendering or gaming etc

psu: Thermaltake 750w GOLD

ram: 4gb x2 (8gb ram) ripjaws

motherboard: asrock extreme 4

gpu: msi gtx 970 gaming 4g

cpu cooler: hyper 212 evo

case: nzxt h440

cpu: intel i5-3470 3.2ghz

 

needs are gaming, video editing, content creation ect.

looking to spend around $600

upgrading the gpu would be nice, might be good to wait a few more days ( team green presents the new cards on 5. april or so )

upgrading to 16gig ram, most rendering etc eats ram

i hope you have a ssd for your OS

other specs look good

I'm just wondering if my cpu is still good for the next couple years or if it is good for the next couple year's i'd upgrade to a 980ti or whatever the newer cards from nvidia you're talking about

look at the possible specs of the new generation

i'm waiting to sell my 980ti for the new ti with double tflops ;)      hopefully the pricing is similar and the "old" 9series gets cheaper then
