Hi, i know the basic of pc, i builded and upgraded my pc, and repaired some pcs for my friends

but this thing never happened before, my friend pc doesn't start anymore, so i pick up and tryied to do the basic things, reseat ram/cables, remove everything useless, clear cmos, but same problem, fans starts as normal but black screen and no post.

so i removed the 4gb Hyperx 1600mhz ram, without it, the mobo beep, so i was like "yea, the problem is the ram", tryied my Corsair XMS3 1333mhz, nothing...... tryied my PSU, nothing, tryied my working graphic card, nothing.

so there are only 2 thing left.. Motherboard, an Asus P8H67-M PRO and cpu, a Pentium G620, i don't have another 1155 cpu/motherboard so i'm asking there, which problem can it be? i already had dead motherboard and cpu, but as i know a dead motherboard doesn't beep, and with a dead cpu the fans will not start..

but i'm not a expert, so i don't know if a dead motherboard can beep or with a dead cpu the fans will start.

thanks and sorry for my english.

that pentium is even too powerful for what he does with the pc, it's a "mediacenter" pc, browsing internet watch videos/music, things like that, and the video output is the tv..

change all 2 will cost like 70€, because he needs a graphic card internal or external, and i'm not from usa, so there isn't a big used market there, just for example, a dreadful pentium G cost 25€ and a working 1155 motherboard cost 40€, so before change all 2, i wanna know if there is something i can do..

Buy one and hope you get lucky. Also, look into a CPU with iGPU so you can use that and not need to buy a GPU
