OCZ Vertex 3 120gb SSD

Hi guys,

 

There's a new little market close to me, so I went and had a look around. The only thing that caught my eye was an SSD. It's an OCZ Vertex 3 120gb SSD, the guys knows nothing about it and wants £40 but I reckon I can get him to sell it for £30. I currently have a 120gb Evo SSD and wanted to combine another one of the same make/model together, but seeing as this new found SSD is cheap I want to go for that. Only thing stopping is how I combine the two drives.

 

I don't really want to Raid them, so from what I have read JBOD would be the best option. I literally just want to combine the two drives to show as one partition. However, is this possible considering they're different makes? And do any of you know if the OCZ SSD is any good? I'm assuming it's okay...

I've been using a 120gb vertex 3 for roughly 5 years. It's meh. Nothing special, and pretty old.

 

It's in my sisters build now.

It's all right, but not worth 40£ at this point. More like 25-30 as you said.

Ohh right. I think I'll just leave it, I've seen some brand new ones only for £40, think I'll stick to that.
