GPU upgrade

I am looking for a gpu for a system with-

  • A Q6600, 8gb ram, and a 680i lt sli motherboard
  • A 500w psu with 1 6pin
  • A 1440x900 monitor(60hz refresh)
  • A budget of $100usd (preferably more like $70 if possible)
  • And a willingness to buy used

Yes, it is for gaming- older AAA and some newer ones(especially when there cheaper). I don't use AA but I do like texture packs or mods.

r9 290s for me in the bay area run around $180 to $220 used. so if OP can find one decently priced then i think he should get one.

Well just keep it as a fall back or something

if you can find a used 7950 or above for about $100, that'd be the best thing you could get.
