Got my 5930k to 4.6ghz but the voltage is super high (have it on auto atm)

Should I just take it back down to 4.4 ghz or is this safe? (Kraken x61 cooled)

It hit 85c in a 30 min stress test max.

Try to manually lower the voltage to 1.35 or 1.4 and then stress it to see if it is stable. Just lower the voltage until it isnt stable then raise it a couple of millivolts

thats too high of a voltage. you really dont want to go above 1.35V-1.4V

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

1.479V is insane, Lower that!

if you hit 85Degrees so fast you will probably get even higher temps in the long run. I would definitely lower that voltage lol

I lowered it to 1.35 and peak at around 4.59 ghz which is good enough for me.

I can't get the multiplier speed to sit at 46 but i changed the bus speed to 102 and that seems to work fine.
