to be honest i really don't see any special feature of a gaming chair...

 

if you're going to say its ergonomic, so are the ergonomic office chair

Linus does a review of one (see below). Haven't watched that video in a long time, but my impression was that it's mostly an aesthetic thing. I think the customizability might be slightly different/enhanced, but the high-end office chairs are built to be pretty comfortable too. For chairs, instead of marking some big functional distinction for the consumer, the "gaming" designation probably mostly serves a branding/marketing purpose.
