Silicon Power Ssd?

I noticed that Newegg had the Silicon Power Ssd on sale for 35 dollars. This seems like a good deal but I have never heard of Silicon Power. Is it a good company/brand/product? Or is it a cheap Chinese knockoff of an ssd?

just did a quick google, silicon power is a company that makes flash memory cards, ram, portable HDD and more and they are from china unsuprisely,

acording amazon their SSDs is... well you can be the judge over that. i havent tested them but its up to you

They are a 13 year old company based in Taiwan.
They have mostly positive reviews across multiple sites.
The customer service? Now that I can't answer.

Yeah. China thing doesn't surprise me. They do look extremely cheap. Most of the reviews say they are slow as hdds. Go Norway!!!

Thats what I am more concerned about. The warranties/quality. Because if theu have horrible customer service, I wamt nothing to do with them. Especially if they are know for making cheap quality things.

When it comes to your PC, even if its a good deal, it's my personal opinion to never go cheap if you have even the slightest doubt.

Thats a good policy. Storage and Power supplies are something I believe you should NEVER buy the lowest end on. Power supplies especially.
