what is the newest Microsoft operating system that will work with this server

432345-B21 - HP ProLiant BL20p G4 5148 2.33MHz Low Voltage 2GB Server

 

right now i can buy this server at a low cost and i was wondering if it was possible to put windows 10 on it or one of the new server operating systems made by Microsoft on it.  my only plans are too do some lite game hosting and server things. and another question dose it have a pci 16x slot idk i just need a tiny gpu for it

Windows 10 will work but I might need more ram.

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work. 

 

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

As said before, if you are only getting 1x BL240p G4, then it isn't going to work because that is a blade server that requires a chassis for power and possibly some ports like ethernet. I also agree that anything older than G6 from HP isn't worth it. G6 as the first generation that had Intel processors that really could reduce their power usage when idle. G5 and earlier only had a high and a low state, and the low state was still pretty high.

There is absolutely no way to run it without buying a fairly large chassis.

There is absolutely no way to run it without buying a fairly large chassis. Even something that old and used will still pry be $150+ and another $100 to ship it.
