Add some storage, or use a usb drive to run some things like ccleaner or advanced system care to clean up the frags/junk files/scraps. You should also go through yourself and look for duplicates and large unneeded files as well as void folders from uninstalls.

I do a frag and junk sweep about once a month, as well as use a 3rd party uninstall program to be sure I get all of it, I won't recommend one because nearly everyone has a preference .

Hey there steveo1234,

There are many things that can take up space on your drive that you don't really use.

I would try to perform a Disk Cleanup (including the system files), defrag the drive and possibly check for any malware software or if your pagefile isn't getting too big.

Posting your system specs would be useful. Is this your only drive? How big is it? What do you use the computer for?

There are third-party tools that can show you what's taking up disk space in your computer.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
