Is there a way I can use my Raspberry Pi like a Steam Link? I want to be able to use an Xbox 360 controller for some of my games and I would like to be able to watch Netflix. (So I can sell my Xbox for computer parts) What can I use? If I used SteamOS could I still watch Netflix from it with a Xbox remote?

you can use a raspberry pi like an nvidia shield, which actually works pretty dang well.

if anyone can bring up a way to make it become steam link, i'm curious as well.

My issue is that I don't have an NVidia GPU so I cant use that feature...

Yeah... Im between a r9 390 because it is more powerful or a GTX 970 for that feature

eh, sit it out until the next generation rolls out, both sides are promising great things to happen, so it may get interesting.

it does surprise me that someone reverse engineered the shield stuff to work on the pi, but no one did it for steam link yet.

that means nvidia must be doing something right with the shields, i guess? xD

steamOS isnt arm compatible tho. unless you want to try and get your hands on the source, and try and compile it on the pi xD

its actually not that ghetto, its just a matter of hooking it up to some kind of UI (emulationstation could do) and its pretty dang seamless.
