Hi, I'm kind of new to the whole pc building world so naturally I have a question. How do I know what GPU's are compatible with which mother boards, or does it matter? Thanks

If you have a GPU and motherboard that have been made recently, they will be compatible.

All GPUs are now PCI-E so you will need a motherboard with a PCI-E slot.

really any one should be compatable. any motherboard made within the last say 5 years should have a PCI-E 3.0 lane, though a PCI-E 2.0 should still provide enough bandwidth.

you also have to have a PCI-E 16x slot. if you look on the picture @X1XNobleX1X posted, its the right-most slot. :) hope that helps!
