So previously I wanted to do two systems, well we've come to the conclusion that she wants a main really good one. So after much tearing down on PcPartPicker I finally came up with this. Also I sunk hours of research and time in this. Opinions and recommendations are welcome, $3000 for everything...max....

Thanks.

The phantom 820 will be $160 once amazon gets it back in stock. I would know. I've been waiting for them to restock it.

And if youre gonna overclock that 980 ti hybrid then its a good choice, otherwise you can get a fury-x for a little cheaper and it be just as good. the hybrid is only good for overclocking with benefits of watercooling and a warranty.

Do you even fanboy bro?

Would a fury keep up with a 1440p if I decided to go that route, instead of the 1080? Also my other concern is if I end up crossfiring them I would need a bigger PSU, where as if I SLI'd two of these monsters together I could squeeze by with a 850 psu.

As the resolution goes up the Fury gets better. So yes, at 1440p the fury would do very very well. Also, you could squeak by with a fury and an 850 watt psu, however a 1300 watt EVGA g2 powersupply is only $160 on amazon. So you could take the extra fury savings and put it there, plus waiting on the amazon 820 would do the trick as well

Yea I plan on mounting a Soundbar I get from work above the Computer monitor and running a sound card to get true 5.1 experience. Do you know when they are going to be restocking and how long have you been waiting? I don't mind paying a higher price if it means there guaranteed to be in stock.

You dont need a soundcard for 5.1, the motherboard can do it. Unless you want it for the 1/4 connections then it's different. the sound quality from motherboards has increased A LOT.

Amazon literally ran out of stock like 5 days ago. They should get more in this week. These cases seem to be popular.

Alright and I got to thinking about that before I posted on here about the motherboard, so I checked it, turns out they support optical cables. Nice :)
