Wifi speed low on one device but fast on the other

Okay so my laptop gets around 0.8 mbps and all other wireless devices in the house gets 10 mbps. To take care of the problem i have

reinstalled the wireless adapter driver

reset all network configurations from command centre

moved laptop to a better location

I am 90% sure that it is some service running in the background that is causing this issue

has anyone had this problem and if you have solved it, what did you do?

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.

How old is the laptop and how new are the other devices?

I had that problem before and these have been the reasons.

  1. Not good wireless adapter in the laptop
  2. peak hours of the day
  3. Too many devices on the network

Over here its definitely not peak hours and i have only 3 devices on the network but can you elaborate on the wifi adapter problem?

Some laptops dont have good wifi adapters like are wireless n(slower) not ac(faster) or they don't support the faster 5ghz(less used band) band. Are the other devices over ethernet? if that explanation wasn't good enough just say

mine is a 204 GHz config and yes its not 802.11ac or anything but the fact still remains that it had 110mbps just three days ago.....so im sure its some driver/windows 10 issue....windows 10 is really starting to bug me now ..first it was the headphone drivers not working and now this
