I highly doubt that there's memory only compatible for AMD platforms as memory is memory. Even memory that's "recommended" for Intel platforms will work fine on AMD platforms because it's standardized, using DDR technology.

Non ECC DDR2 is all the same, the only thing that changes is the operating speed.

This is cheaper than the link you posted

AMD and Intel RAM?

Have I been doing it wrong my whole life?

Do I have a magic motherboard? The RAM out of some intel LGA1156 machine works just fine in my AMD Athlon machine.

As far as I know there is no such thing as AMD RAM or Intel RAM.

If there is, could someone explain to me please? Never heard of such thing before.

Actually- the K8 IMC supported 16K paging of 11 columns which allowed you to have density of 2Gb per rank. On other IMCs you could only have 1GB per rank (10 column/8 page).

You cannot run sticks of 4GB density on socket 775 OP.
