So my tower is on my desk, and is about 50cm (aprox. 20in) away from my ear, and I can hear the little motors spinning away.

I'm looking for a fan curve that will keep the fans quiet enough, so I can't hear it too much, but I don't want my internal components to get too toasty.

well, a fan curve that a person in an igloo uses wouldnt be applicable for someone that lives in the sahara

you can try making your own fan curve

but if the temps are too high with inaudible fan noise, u might wanna consider swapping out the fan for better ones if they're case fans/cpu cooler fans

if its the gpu's fan, might wanna consider making a custom loop for it

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

That is true, and where I live (Herakleion, Greece), the temperatures this time of year are quite nice (12-20C), and my hottest core is at 30 max while browsing the web, and doesn't get too hot during gameplay.

I'll try messing around with it a bit
