Microphone Suggestions?

Hey,

I bought a Snowball iCE the other day and am very disappointment with how it picks up so much background noise compared to my old headset mic.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a new mic that will actually work nicely?

your problem isnt to do with the microphone its self but how your using it. You had a headset microphone which positions the microphone close to your mouth, that means the gain doesnt need to be high. But using a microphone sat on a desk around a meter away it has to have the gain up higher so its picking up everything else in a meter radius of the microphone compared to everything a inch away from a microphone near your mouth. A better solution is having a microphone near your mouth.
