CPU 100% Usage When Playing Games

Im having an issue with the cpu Intel i5-4690k when only playing games it stays at 95% to 100%. I have a GTX 960 4GB for grapics.

what games are we talking about?

unless its a very cpu intensive game, this shouldnt occur

Might sound stupid, but try to enable vsync in game settings, then look at results.

Does it matter if it uses your CPU that much?  Not like you're gonna be doing anything else while gaming anyway.

No what is concerning in some games the cpu stays at 100% until i closed it or the game is unplayable. Can this be bad for CPU?
