Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Blocking Problem

Hey guys

 

I own the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, as the title states, and I'm having an issue with blocking numbers. I select the section that says "Add to block list", which adds the person to a blocked list, but the problem is the message still goes through. It's not visible until I hit the blocked messages tab, but I don't want it like that. Is there a way that I can block a number to the extent where the messages won't even go through? If there is a way to do that, would it be easy enough to unblock the number?
