pci-e revision is the top 16x slot

depends on the motherboard, should be gen 1 or 2

but gpu will work just fine, your cpu would bottleneck the gpus i listed above before the pcie lanes does

Yo m8's, I got dis old Dell of mine ( a dimension E520), and I want to (for old times sake), convert it into a super powerful sleeper PC.  I have a few ideas.  for a CPU, a Core 2 Extreme QX 9770, or QX 9650, both are quad cores, and have clocks of 3-3.2 GHz.  Now, for same janky stuff, i want to cram a modern,  GPU in there, problem is, I need a single slot card.  This is where I start to have questions, what is the biggest card i could fit in there, what pci-e revision is the top 16x slot, what sata revision does the board have, and what is a cooler I could use with this mobo.  Thanks if u can answer!

Edit:  If u can't find a gaming style single slot card, would a quadro M4000, or a FirePro of  some sort, thx.
