GTX 750Ti for GPU Rendering

I just watched the video on video rendering, and which card is better, and I guess the answer is that just having a card is better than CPU only rendering.

However, I tried rendering with my GTX 750TI and it just crashed premier pro. Is there a setting I need to change or something?

Also, does GPu rendering only make a difference with a high end video card?

 Update the program and drivers. and then try.

Also its about what CPU you have, Linus Used high core count xeon for his VM, and the lowest tear GPU was a the R9 285.

if you have a "real scenario" CPU, then the margin from going GPU even on a 750Ti might be still good enough.
