Installing cpu

Alright so I have a quick question, I am getting the gigabyte h97 1150 ddr3  motherboard and I have an Intel Xeon 1231 e3 1150 cpu and I have 2 x8 gb ddr3 hyper X ram. Since the numbers on the ram and cpu line up logically speaking it should work fine with this motherboard
