Hey guys,

I got a small issue, i don't know why, but this is just frustrating. I think I found out a possible solution, but I gotta ask before i touch there...

Basically, if I change any value in the BIOS, windows will not start. I can only OC using the AI Suite. On top of my BIOS there is this thing called "EZ Tweaking" or something of that sort. Same as on my MB - there is a jumper. I am not sure, do I have to move the jumper to Manual so that I can OC manually? I tried to change it to manual on the BIOS but then it was just shutting off after a couple of seconds after I turn it off. I had to reset the CMOS and it fixed it. I don't want this to happen again. As default, the jumper is on EZ.

See my specs in signature below.

even if I change it from "Auto" to 3.3GHz (which is the base clock) will still do it. It doesn't matter. One touch and Windows will not load. I will try again now and see what happens...

Not likeing manuals do you? http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2011/X99-A_USB31/e9932_x99-a_usb_31_for_web_only.pdf

Ez switch on the board appears to memory xmp only. There is another switched named tpu for auto oc. You might need to turn that one off to adjust manually.

OK now there is it...something's just strange. I just put manual in the bios and it got into windows. I have 3.8GHz as set up.

That's really strange, cuz when i was on W7, it would not launch windows if i touch anything in the bios. Now, I don't have EZ update installed nor AI suit and it is without problems...
