USB and PS/2 adapter Keyboard not responding...

I just finished building my first computer. i bought a cooler master tk keyboard. i turned on the system for the first time with my ASUS crosshair V formula Z and the only image on the screen is the ROG logo, with the following text underneath.. "Please press DEL or F2 to enter UEFI BIOS setting." now my keyboard wont opperate on this screen... so i bought another keyboard with a ps/2 adapter on its usb pluged it in, and nothing happens. still wont recognize the keyboard!!! WHAT DO I DOOOOOO =[
