Looking for some quiet PSU

I currently have Chieftec APS-750cb PSU and it's making kinda loud noise when I'm gaming.

I tried to test all other fans and see if any of them is causing it, but once GPU and CPU get on high load, after few minutes PSU fan will start spinning fast and whole case will start vibrating. It can get realy loud and it's very annoying to me.

So I will probbably return this PSU to seller and request for other brand. When I bought that PSU, it was 95€, and hopefully I will be able to add some more money and buy better psu.

Now I would like to ask you guys for advice which PSU should I get, that won't be noisy. I'm looking for good brand, 650W 80+ Bronze or better for up to 120-130€ max.

I got be quiet PSU similar to this one and its dead silent. But why its so expensive there

just get bigger one that wont kick in fan until 50% + load

May I ask what components you have in your PC, so I know how much power you drain out of it?

Prices are high here because it's Slovenia, where people are kinda poor (950€ average monthly income)

Yeah, the EVGA 650W GS is your best option for the money and for silence. Just go with that.

That cost more than 160€ here so that won't be option for me ^^

i5 6500, Asus Z170-K MBO, 2x8GB RAM, Gigabyte GTX 750 ti, Samsung EVO 850 SSD, random speakers powered via USB, 2x 80mm be quiet FANs custom mounted on GPU (stock fans sounds like vacuum cleaner) + 2x 120mm on case.

I would go with the Corsair RM650x or Super Flower Leadex 650w

If silence is paramount, the RMx would be the quieter of the two due to its more relax fan profile (fan doesn't ramped up as hard) and wire fan grille (less turbulent noise).

Because Slovenia. We have 22% VAT and every computer retailer for some reason thinks it's ok to mislead customers with huge prices.

Jump over to Croatia when buying PC parts, its much cheaper + you can return VAT.

Same in Bosnia :(, btw I'd maybe go for the EVGA gs. I have a g2 and it's great and from what i know gs is kinda the quieter version of g2.

I don't think that's still a thing, since Croatia is in EU. I'll check their prices, but for now, I'm looking at ordering from germany (mindfactory and amazon), it's much cheaper.

Btw do you have any links for good computer shops in Croatia?

Use this site to search every shop. And you should be able to get VAT back.

Doesn't work anymore. Croatia is part of EU now, same as Slovenia.

Like maremp said ... we order from mindfactory now, but in my case I can ony select PSU from this shop. They will never give me full refund for it. I will be glad if they even agree that I give them back my old PSU that cost 96€, and I pay 30€ more to get EVGA or Corsair.

Are you looking for silent or is your current one just louder then you think it should be?
