Whatcha think?

PSU isn't that great of a quality for a GPU like the 980Ti. A 500W SeaSonic or XFX would be much better.

 

Any reason for the reference 980Ti? Cooling is pretty subpar :/

I'd run an SSD, but I play games then delete them usually. I personally don't like looking at load screens all day. Great build though.

Throw in the new Cooler Master MasterAir Maker 8 would look good.

and cpu for that matter. I'd get a better cpu and a lesser GPU to balance the system out more. Also, an ssd.

its an OK choice it can turbo to 3.6 but i guess he could get an i5 6600 without the k

Paused a bit reading this. Then realized the OP had been modified. @Heuron, you might want to add a note in the OP that the linked build has been updated.

 

The gpu seems like an odd choice. There are models with better cooling solutions and performance around the same price.

 

I would spend more on the motherboard. If necessary I'd get a slightly less expensive ssd, to improve the motherboard.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
