Hello,

I transferred a number of apps to the sd card, but it is being shown as internal storage when I view the storage on my phone. The apps appear to have not transferred because they are not shown on my sd card, but in the application manager it says its using external storage. Any Ideas?

Try closing the settings app to let it refresh.

Download an app like Es File Explorer (it's what I use) to take a better look at the storage your apps are using and the ability to move it to your SD card.

Also check your cached data and miscellaneous section of your memory.

But you have the S7, which will surely get marshmallow, so you'll have adoptable storage and this wont be an issue anymore.

The S7 comes with marshmallow pre-installed already...

And Adoptable Storage is DISABLED on this Device.

And this is a good thing.

Adoptable storage is completely Retarded on the s7 / Edge. It makes your device MUCH Slower.

Reason: Internal Storage is UFS 2.0 memory, and it has like a read speed of 450 mb/s.

The fastest micro SD cards can hit like 90 mb/s.

Instead starting the App with 450 mb/s, you start it with 90 mb/s (of even less). There is no logic reason to do that.

Or do you really have 500 Apps installed, which don't fit on 25gb~ ?

It is for apps that do not require high bandwidth like the music app or spotify, so I  can leave the higher bandwith storage for other apps where it is more essential. Plus, once its launched it is just in RAM. But, I have 10 GB left on internal memory, so I want to be as efficient as possible with the better storage.
