NewEgg.com is good. If you have a base model in mind. I made an Acer with the exact same specs as an HP for $400 less. So I suggest you find a laptop you like, then go to NewEgg and customize a cheaper laptop. I put an i7 in a laptop that had an i3 initially, and added a 960m graphics card where there was no designated gpu before
