Gaming error, what does this mean?

The procedure entry point ?id@?$codecvt@DDH@std@@2V0locale@2@A could not be located in the dynamic link library for Metal Gear Solid 5

 

Over the last few days I have been getting many dll errors from things like Metal Gear Solid 5 and Photoshop and im not sure why this is happening it never happened in the past, and I have tried re-installing them and new dlls but to no prevail. Someone please help.

To be honest this is not the forum to ask these type of questions lol. They never or rarely get answered. try toms hardware?

DLLs are things that are installed with software. If you have some missing, it means that windows update or something you have lately done has deleted those. Install problematic software again and they should disappear.

 

And @Mohenjo thats hardly way to act here. These are among fastest replying forums for simple issues. And there are only few issues which get 0 replies.

that would be true if it didnt take 16 hours for him to get a response.. If he wanted his question answered i suggested how to do it...

For international forum 16h is nothing. If post is left with no answers for 3 days, thats much. Besides, you replied before I and your reply didn't contain any real help. Just a suggestion for trying from somewhere else. So initially you didn't even give forums chance of helping. Not really way one should act here.
