Simple question (Astro a40s)

Okay so I'm using Astro A40 Headphones w/ Astro A40 Mixamp as both my Playback and Recording devices.

 

I've been watching a few videos online, and shall I even be using the Mixamp?

 

I use the headset and mixamp for communicating online and playing CSGO (sound is essential)

 

TLDR: Shall I remove the mixamp out of the equation and connect the headset directly to my PC instead?

The mixamp shouldn't affect things much, you should be fine.
