Check to make sure your board isn't shorting out on something, make sure the back of your board is clear from any loose wires or anything like that. Also make sure it's properly secured to your case with the right standoffs in the appropriate holes.

Are you touching your board while turning it on?

Make sure your board doesn't have any dust lodged anywhere. Check USB headers and fan headers too.

Nope nope i have no contact with the board when its in. or when i leave it on something else like a peice of cardboard < this is when itll work when its not in the case

Good. Otherwise, I would have to Internet slap you.

Wires touching the back is fine anyways as long as they're properly insulated - that's actually what the insulation is for. To prevent short circuits. When the board is installed, is the case touching the board at all?

If the board is functioning outside of the case, I'm more inclined to believe it has to do with the case somehow or installation. Dust to me is not likely the culprit.

I did o-o or did i answer it wrong sorry..

as far as i can see no.

You explained no wires "or anything like that" were touching the case. It doesn't rule out everything.

Can you see anything that might cause the board to short while inside the case? This also means two unlike conductors shorting together. For example, ground to some other component through a screw.

Did you do everything that is typical of a build? Installed the necessary hardware, including the I/O shield?

Sadly no. Xept one of those EXTREMELY old windows 95 computer xD i dont even know if it works honestly.

I'm seriously concerned why the board is shorting to the case. If everything is installed properly with no possibility of shorting, it should be working just fine. Any spare cases that you have?
