When wil DX12 be released? I plan to build a new rig along with my old GTX970 and probably another GPU since I can use another model of GPU with it? (Sry if this is the wrong place to post I have nowhere else to post it) or has it been released without me knowing?

Fuq. Then what's with the cross GPU I read about?

Only supported games have DX12, and I'm not sure if all of them have multi gpu support for different cards or if it is up to each developer to implement that.

I know you can run ashes of singularity on any 2 gpu's.

Are you referring to using two different GPUs in crossfire/SLI?

That has to be implemented (like everything else) by the game developer, and that will take time before we see games built specifically for dx12

Nono, I didn't meant that. What I meant was about NVIDIA cards working with AMD cards

For that you need support from both AMD and Nvidia as well as the game devs. It's not likely to happen

you only need game devs to support it.

DX12 can bypass drivers to quite an extent.

Ashes of the Singularity has the feature already.

Weren't there driver issues with it? I seem to recall it only working when AMD cards are used as the main one

nop. Driver issues was during DX9 and DX11 when people used old NV cards for PhysX. Then Nvidia decided to block the ability to do that.

It works with either being the main card, but it gets the biggest boost with the AMD card being the "boss"
