Need help setting up 2 monitors

I have a gtx 760 and i have my main monitor hooked up using hdmi and i had a spare tv so i thought i could use it as a second monitor so i hooked it up using vga but my second tv doesnt shpw anything on the vga input it just says no signal, my computer detects it but it doesnt display on the tv help please

Just to make sure did you switched to VGA mode on your TV?

what's the native resolution of the tv?

try 640 x 480 first to see if anything comes up, then try increasing the resolution

Try changing the output frequency. The TV might not be able to function at the same refresh rate as the output signal.

maybe wide aspect ratios aren't supported, try 1024 x 768. you might get a higher resolution working

you have to go into the Nvidia control panel and turn it on because i use a TV for my main with HDMI and 2 monitors and spares and yopu have to do to Display: Set Up multiple displays and click the checkmark to turn it on
