im looking into upgrading my ancient pc a bit

 

CPU: i7 2700k

RAM: 16 GB ddr3

Motherboard: gigabyte z68AP-D3

GPU: AMD r9 290x 

storage: 500 gb seagate and a 1000gb western digital

 

my question is what should i focus on upgrading

keyboard: logitech g700s

headset: roccat kave 5.1

monitor is a 24" samsung screen and my 2nd screen is an old neovo screen not really looking into getting new screens since i happy with the ones i have

It's a good system. If it was my money, I certainly wouldn't be spending any money on it until Polaris and Pascal have been announced and I could see what the best replacement for that 290x will be.

im baffled that you guys think my system is good ive been looking into getting a i7 6700k, a asus ROG maximus ranger but i guess ill save my money then

put the cards in crossfire if possible or make a custom water loop! These things are fun.
