2016 Motherboards Summary?

So I left following tech for a few months and a lot of things happened when I was doing other things.

I'm particularly curious about the new Skylake processors and Z170 motherboards.

 

Even though AMD's motherboards nor processors have changed in a while, I'd still like to get a small recap on that platform as well.

what is there to say except the usual next gen product with their motherboard

z170 = overclocking

other 100 series board are not for overclocking

 

and usb 3.1 is a thing now

z170 is for the k cpus but the h ones are basicaly for basic use or like h170 is like z170 but with no multiplyer.
