Scarlett Solo Compact Interface

My scarlett solo compact interface is currently connected to my monitor via USB and is used to record audio from my XLR mic. However, when I attempt to establish a connection with my M50x's through the headphone jack on the interface, I receive no computer feedback. I know the jack is working because when I enable the direct monitoring of my microphone through my headphones, I can hear my mic pickup. Computer audio is just not being registered through my headphones. Is there any additional connection I must establish?

Does anyone know the solution to using the  Scarlett solo interface as an amp for headphones.

Nvm fixed my problem. The issue was the playback was set to 96khz, which was to high apparently. I switched to 44.1khz and it is detecting great sound!
