Posted March 19, 2016 Hey guys, i looked on google for suggestions but couldn't find any. I am wanting to make a simple 2d style platformer mountain bike game or similar. Some people were saying unity 3d is easy-ish to use, but even making a ball roll looks hard asf, and that's a "beginners tutorial". I know, right now, I'm using GameMaker (There is a free version, should you want to try it out) Making a game in a formal engine is never that "easy". It requires some effort. I think GameMaker is the best one to try, Unity, UE4, and CRYENGINE are the three cheap engines though.
