1) i7 - 6700HQ + GTX 965M, $2259

2) i7 - 6820HK + GTX 980M, $2134

cpu = 6820HK, reason being its unlocked and can be overclocked

GPU = GTX 980M, reason being... higher performance, what else

gaming = 2

editing videos = 2

cooling system = dunno

less noise = dunno

my opinion: just get 2, even if 1 is significantly cooler or produce less noise, the performance of 2 will be totally worth it, and it comes with g-sync, and a larger SSD

comment: this goes to show how overpriced alienware can be i guess, cost more and performs less... about half the gpu horsepower... and less features >.>

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

ah no wonder they're so expensive

with 2259, they include the alienware amplifier with a 980 ti? or its just the laptop and you have buy the amplifier and 980ti yourself?

nvm i found out, anyway if thats the case, the alienware pose a great value too... hmm

well the alienware will perform better at games if you plug it into the dock, so yea

personally i would go with the alienware in this case

I would still pick the Sager any day. Offers more storage options (2 M.2 and 2 SATA), it is quite slim at 28.8mm (or about an inch thick), 3 cooling fans for efficient cooling, G-Sync on the built in display, and it is not attention seeking.

Maybe it's just me, and I would find that the Sager would be easier to carry around.
