Hey all,

I need some help and I don't have the time to research USB/HDD data encryption for sensitive data, but I need to have multiple copies of sensitive data that is portable.  The encryption needs to be nearly unbreakable.

Thanks for the advice.

Regards,

Ssk

if US military standard is "nearly unbreakable" enough, you should go with an AES256 encryption. The tool AESCrypt is usually considered safe.

AESCrypt encrypts a folder or file to be a single ".aes" file. Which will be converted back to what is was previously by the program after entering a password.

Do I need to get a USB that has AES256 encryption?
