What does a round robin mean?

im playing in this and it says round robin. what does that mean. does it mean my team has to VS every other team...-

It means every team will play eachother. So there is no elimination its whoever wins more games

Usually tournament group stages is round robin and so every team/player in group plays against every other team. Exception is SC2 GSL style.
