Hey guys I just got a sweet deal on a brand new 4820k. (200 bucks). I'm replacing my 3820 (non k) with it so I can overclock. I changed the multiplier in my bios to 41 and when I bring up cpu z it shows that the multiplier is 37 still but then it says (12-42) in parentheses. It's running at 3.7 ghz stock still.

Am I missing something simple here or what

CPU: Ryzen 5950X Ram: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 3600 CL14 | Graphics: GIGABYTE GAMING OC RTX 3090 |  Mobo: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS MASTER | Storage: SEAGATE FIRECUDA 520 2TB PSU: Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 12 - 1500W | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU & LG C1
