Oh no. it is my sisters laptop and she can't log into win 8.1 . So I am getting windows password unlocker but it did not let me go onto usb in  uefi so had to do it in bios so that loaded but because I changed it, it does not let me see the os.

UEFI is simulating a BIOS, which means it's trying to use a Master Boot Record on your disk. Did you try inserting Windows recovery media (DVD or USB) and using the recovery tools to automatically fix it for you?

EDIT: Just saw your last post. Did you try resetting your CMOS?

Sounds like you need to reformat the driver and do a clean install.
