What are these worth?

Ok first i am going to try to sell my laptop to get some extra money because there is a used pc i want to buy on craigslist,my motherboard is having problems and i am worried how much longer it will last.

So i want to sell my laptop and mabye some more stuff to get something else.

What is my laptop for resale(on craigslist)? this is my laptop http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834256535

I think $450~500 for that build is a pretty good deal.

You might be able to sell your laptop for $300 or thereabouts.

Primary Build: i7-4790 · 16GB Hynix DDR3-1600 · Sapphire Tri-X R9 390x · NZXT S340 · Win10 Pro · Seagate Barracuda 1TB T_T

Portable: 2015 Retina Macbook Pro 13" · i5-5257u · 512GB PCIe SSD · Intel Iris 6100 T_T

Start at 300 for the laptop. I wouldn't buy it for that, but hey, you never know if someone else would. I'd expect it to go for sure around $150.

That build is a bit overpriced IMO. Probably cost a lot more new, but CPU is older and the GPU isn't good for much.

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Do you think it would be 2 much to start at $375 OBO?

I am kinda hoping since the build has a z77 board,i am hoping it is a 2600k not a plain 2600,but either way it will be a slight improvement to what i have, i5 2320,8gb ram,and no SSD and a dying motherboard.

Sure, if you want. Can't hurt.

It's in their best interest to include the K if it is. It's possible they forgot it or don't know what it means though.

Good.

EDIT: Oh, does it say what PSU it comes with? It is possible that it won't be enough for the 270 or its just generally crap.

Oh. A CX. It's fine for the light build he's got, but a larger GPU like the 270 might be too much. Read this for more

Maybe get him to drop the price so you can buy a better PSU. In any case don't use the CX. Sell it.

I already asked him and $500 is the lowest he will go.

Would my Antec PSU be ok? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371035

Or i also have this http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=29    I know the name might be worrying but i have had it for 5 years and no problems, for a while i ran it with a q9450 and a gtx460se.

JonnyGuru gave it a 9.

It might work, 500 W is the recommended minimum for the 270x. Don't expect to be able to overclock with it though.

If that doesn't work, the other 600 W should work.

Well i don't even have the money yet because i am trying to sell my laptop first, but also, all the mobo's in that price range in ebay, that are not OEM or Intel only have 2 ram slots, and i have ddr3 i could use,but i would be stuck 8gb only because of the lack of ram slots.

Plus with the fact that my motherboard is about to go any day now, i really don't want to wait to sell THEN for stuff to be shipped.

My motherboard is in bad shape lol...

ok, i understand, but if you can wait for the ship you can do this build:

1150 motherboard looks like chepaer, so for 40$ you can have a mobo with 4 ram slots

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gab85mds3ha

Xeon Version of the I7 4770, better than 2600.. for 225$

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Xeon-E3-1245-v3-3-4GHz-3-8GHz-Max-8MB-5GT-s-SR14T-LGA1150-CPU-Processor-/291709014170?hash=item43eb36509a:g:mFMAAOSwzgRWumvO

or 245$ for the 4770k if you wanna overclock.

8gb single or 2x4 gb are like 30$, so you can reuse your rams

a 20$ for a cooler

and the 85$ Samsung SSD

for 400$ you will have a newer and better cpu, new motherboard, not a 3-4yo one, and a new SSD.
