URL Frame Cloaking

I've been having shitloads of trouble linking my new domain to my webserver, but the old domain works fine. I played around with frame cloaking the URL onto my current domain to make it look legit and it works fine. The only question I had, is if someone connects through the frame cloaked URL, will it reduce bandwidth at all? I read this somewhere but I couldn't find anything else on it.

What do you mean by trouble? It might just be taking time for DNS records to change.
