How to start a poll?

Well that's exactly my question. How to start a poll? I went to:-

1)Start a New Topic

2)Clicked on poll tab

3)Filled the title, question and options

4)Clicked Sumbit Topic

 

But it redirects me to Content tab and shows" Something went wrong. Check the values provided on the marked tabs and try again "

It needs to be a thread, not a standalone poll. You need a title and body written
