Hi all,

I would like to simulate the ctrl key on one of my mouse buttons, but can't figure out how. The only thing can get to work is the press down for a specific time and lift up (not helpful because I'm not using it as a gaming macro) or press and keep pressed indefinitely. I use a CAD software called SolidWorks, and I frequently need to select multiple entities, so having a hotkey linked to ctrl on my mouse would be super useful so I don't have to hold down the ctrl key on the keyboard when selecting lines and surfaces and what not. Can anyone help?

Much appreciated

After some more fiddling I figured it out. You need click "button options" then under "basic buttons" there's an option for "keystroke". Choose that and click the "+" button. This brings up a box for you to type which key stroke you want mapped to that button.
